TRACY AN DRE' WILLIAMS
Tracy began drawing at a very early age. What started as a little brother mimicking his big brother, turned into a love that has grown with each stroke of the charcoal, marker, pencil and pen. Like any adolescent with crayons and paper, Tracy doodled and drew cute little pictures that were praised by his parents and put on the refrigerator for family to admire. By age 11, however, it was clear that he had a special gift and natural talent for art.
Early on, one of his teachers saw one of his drawings and was amazed. He informed Tracy's mother that her son was uniquely talented and that his style was unlike any he'd seen in a child so young. He took the talented young artist under his wing as his protégé' and began teaching him some of the finer points of drawing.
Although Tracy was given ample training, his mentor was careful to let Tracy's natural ability lead the way. Tracy went on to win many art and talent contests while in high school and beyond. He further pursued his love of art at Central Piedmont Community College where he studied commercial art and graphic design.
